Auryn - Lacey Peonies

Maple, whites, gold & LACE.

A little something different with this statement piece! The double frame is made from solid maple with gold acrylic splines in the corners for both elegance and long term stability of the piece. An inner frame was cut on the laser and painted metallic gold. The flowers and foliage were stack cut by hand on my scroll saw. The base layer of the leaves were painted gold and adorned with white lace. I topped the leaves with an outline layer to hold the lace in place and give some contrast. The blooms were painted in two shades of white. Some smaller leaves were left metallic gold to offer further elegance and contrast to the piece.

This piece comes complete with a hanger on the back and can be hung horizontally or vertically.
