Auryn Dogwood Blossoms

Full of femininity, this one. I used my laser to cut creamy white acrylic into "lace" strips as an inner frame. Spalted maple makes up the backer of this piece and white oak was used to double frame it. White acrylic splines help to reinforce the mitered corners. The dogwood branches were hand drawn, cut and carved. The branches, centres and leaves are painted a metallic gold while the petals are a crisp white. This piece comes with a hanger on the back.
